A beautifully fresh Cotes du Rhone that’s packed with bright berry fruit, fresh flowers, wet stone like minerality, and loads of freshly cracked pepper. The 2010 La Jardiniere Cotes du Rhone is medium-bodied on the palate and very well put together; showing a polished easy texture, notable purity, juicy acidity, and plenty of class on the finish
The McGuigan Black Label Red is an approachable, medium bodied style with a nice combination of ripe, soft fruit flavours and the perfect balance of tannin to provide some structure. Not only a great wine to have around great friends and family, but also at home when paired with a wide array of cuisine including barbecued meats and salads.
The Misterio Malbec Oak Aged wine has a quite a nice smoky, chocolaty note, with a violet and bright cherry fruit. On the palate there is a nice smooth, ripe, concentrated but still fine, with a touch of chocolate and that cherry and red plum fruitiness. Four months in oak (staves).
The wine is a dark ruby red. On the nose there's aromas of prunes, espresso, caramel, spice box, and anise. It's full bodied on the palate with sweet but dusty tannins and a bit of a tart acidity. For flavors it's a mouthful of prunes with raspberries, chocolate, espresso, and caramel. Then it finishes with raspberries, caramel, and smokiness.
Pleasant bouquet, full and richly nuanced. Dry flavour and sturdy body that shows fine breeding. It has a balanced, full and persistent taste with a lightly grassy background.
