Kraken Rum was introduced in 2010. Its base rum is distilled in Trinidad from sweet molasses made from locally-sourced sugarcane. The rum is then aged one to two years and blended with The Kraken’s mix of special spices, which includes clove, ginger and cinnamon. When held up to the light in a glass, the rum is black with subtle brown hints.
